Andy holds a Master of Engineering from UC Berkeley, where his research focused on Deep Learning applied to music and healthcare.

He currently works as a Data Scientist at Genentech where he supports the clinical operations, participating in predictive modeling and patterns identification. 

Andy also collaborates with the AI for Good Foundation as a research scientist, using natural language processing to extract data from academic documents to support the Sustainable Development Goals.
