Marta’s background is in human neuroscience. She led research and delivered European projects at the intersection of cutting-edge science and tech. In her current role at Cooperative AI Foundation, she spearheads strategic partnerships across applied research (academic and industrial), governance frameworks, and institutions. Her mission is to steward multi-stakeholder dialogue, on trade-offs and incentives between the wider AI landscape and society, with the aim of building an ecosystem for digital trust and societal resilience. Her guiding principles are responsible use of technology, protection of human dignity and fundamental rights. Marta is a certified Tech Steward and CAIDP affiliate.
