With his own legal practice, Jan Schnedler has been a leading lawyer for technology transfer and startup law for years. He is co-founder and Chief Legal Officer at the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC), the official AI Center in Hamburg. He has written the books “Startup Law” as well as the books from the series German Startup law “Managing Director”, “German IP Law for Startups”, “Employment Law for Startups” and is co-author of the book “How artificial intelligence shapes our lives”. He therefore combines extensive experience in AI and the legal matters of startups.

He is also an arbitrator at the Czech Arbitration Court and the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre and is a certified data protection officer since 2011. He also teaches at various universities and has founded several startups.
