Christoffer Ericsson

Christoffer Ericsson works at Arcada University of Applied Sciences as Degree Program Director for the Emergency Care Programme and as Director of Arcada Patient Safety and Learning Center.

Christoffer is an experienced paramedic and awarded educator, voted Arcada Teacher of The Year twice by students. Holding two masters degrees, in Emergency Care and Applied Psychology, Christoffer’s primary interests is in making emergency care and acute healthcare work more managable for providers through, by combining psychological frameworks and simulation-based learning.

As a doctoral student at University of Helsinki, Christoffer’s research is exploring Nordic paramedic professionals’ resilience and exploring factors contributing to occupational wellbeing in frontline acute care personnel.
