Emilie has a background in academic research. With a PhD in biomedical science and human disease she has spend 7+ years in academia. Emilie works at the Copenhagen Institute of Futures Studies, an independent, non-profit futures think tank. Emilie works as a part of the health team where she mainly uses her critical and scientist mindset to do research on different projects. As well as communicating, integrating and translating hard-core biology to layman language.

Emilie’s interest lies within future health care systems, health technology and innovation as well as the pharmaceutical industry. Emilie has a background in biology and human biology and has worked within the areas of breast cancer, endocrinology and lung disease.
