Francesco Di Tano, Ph.D.

Francesco Di Tano is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Alma Mater Research Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (Alma AI) at the University of Bologna, since 2018.
His research interests are in new technologies law; in particular ethics, privacy and data protection in the field of scientific research.
Currently, he is also involved in supporting national and international projects coordinated by the University of Bologna on the aspects of privacy, data protection and ethics.
He was awarded a Ph.D in Law and New Technologies at CIRSFID – ALMA AI in July 2017.
He is Honorary Fellow at the chair of Legal Computer Science of the University of Bologna since 2014, and Teaching Tutor since 2019.
