Hanna has over 20 years of experience in software development and design. Her career is strongly consentrated around research and development, mostly automation industry, including desing and development of the first IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) solutions. She has been involved in developing the industry standards with international partners for IIoT as well.

Hanna has been working for the Finnish Tax Administration (FTA) since 2017.

Hanna has Master of Engineering degree in Big Data Analytics, Arcada UAS, Helsinki, Finland.

She also has Bachelor of Science degree in Automation technology and has expanded her studies in Helsinki University of Technology, known currently as Aalto University, at Automation and Systems department.

Hanna has taken AI, machine learning and Big Data her main focus areas and is finishing her Master of Engineering, Big Data Analytics degree in Arcada UAS.

Being born and raised up in Lapland, near the Artic Circle, in the city of Rovaniemi, Hanna Sormunen values nature and people. Her passion is making things better, for all.

Hanna was awarded a Z-inspection®  Teaching Certificate.
