Jean De Meyere

Jean De Meyere is a Doctoral Researcher at CiTiP KU Leuven and a PhD Student at UCLouvain. He is preparing a thesis entitled “Multi-stakeholder regulation and transparency as key principles for fighting online disinformation under EU law” under the supervision of Pr. Alain Strowel and Pr. Jan De Bruyne .
Jean focuses on platform governance, disinformation, content moderation, and artificial intelligence. He is currently working on two H2020 projects related to AI : the MANOLO project on Cloud-Edge Efficient & Trustworthy AI and the FAITH project (Fostering Artificial Intelligence Trust for Humans towards the optimization of trustworthiness through large-scale pilots in critical domains). Prior to his academic experience, Jean worked as a Data Privacy Consultant at Computer Task Group Belgium.
