Jordan Famularo, PhD is postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity. Her cross-cultural research develops insight into curation and systems thinking challenges with current focus on digital harms. Her doctoral training is in art history with specialization in premodern Mediterranean technological cultures. Her work has been published in Sixteenth Century Journal, Leonardo’s Library: The World of a Renaissance Reader, and Shift. She also collaborates on multidisciplinary research on dataset development ethics for machine learning, which has been presented at CVPR and Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS).
Jordan holds a PhD, MPhil, and MA from New York University and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
