Maud Stiernet is a consultant specializing in Responsible Artificial Intelligence, and Accessibility, She began her career in the tech sector before focusing on children’s online rights, particularly for those with specific needs using technology to engage in the digital world. Maud co-chairs the W3C Accessibility for Children Community, organizes inclusive workshops to enhance AI literacy and safety among children, and serves on the ICT Expert Committee for the European Disability Forum.
She contributed to the development of standards that prioritize children’s rights and well-being online and is also an evaluator for submissions at the Conferences on AI and Society.
Her role involves assessing the quality, relevance, and ethical considerations of research papers and projects. She has been involved in research on responsible AI, accessibility, privacy, and well-being.
