Ethics Expert, Evaluator, Rapporteur, and Chair of Ethics Consensus Panels to the European Commission, DG Research & Innovation, REA and EASME – in the fields of border security, Green Deal, Next Generation Internet/A.I., food safety, environment, health, scientific and medical research.

She has taught Global Politics, Governance and New Security Threats at Harvard, Akita, and Brussels Universities and at the Royal Military Academy of Belgium.

She is currently a Professor of International Relations at Centre d’Etudes Diplomatiques et Stratégiques in Paris.

Previously, as a high-ranking official at the United Nations, she has worked in the sectors of Public Information, Humanitarian Affairs, Peacekeeping, Development, Political Affairs, and Public Health. Her in-country experience includes the Great Lakes (Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, DRC), West (Senegal), and Horn of Africa (Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda). She is the recipient of the UN 21 Award for her “exceptional contribution towards increasing efficiency in the United Nations”.

Among her creative initiatives are the Nuba Joint Military Commission (Sudan) and the website http://peacemaker.un.org. She also received the Medal of Pope Benedict XVI in recognition of her peace efforts for Darfur (Sudan) and Who’s Who 2023 Award for professional achievements.
