Prof. Sune Holm

Sune Holm holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of St. Andrews, UK. He is associate professor in ethics and philosophy of science at the Department of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Copenhagen.
Sune’s current research focuses on questions concerning the ethics of AI, in particular issues concerning algorithmic fairness, which he researches as part of the project Bias and Fairness in Medicine funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark. Sune is also developing a set of guidelines for ethical reflection in collaboration with the Science AI Centre at the University of Copenhagen, he is chairman of the University of Copenhagen’s working group on digital education of students, and he is a contributor to the development of online teaching materials on digitalization for students at the University of Copenhagen.
Sune was awarded a Z-inspection® Teaching Certificate.
