Willy Tadema is a data science and AI ethics lead at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. She has extensive work experience in government in various roles, including statistician, developer, information architect, data engineer and open data policy advisor. Currently, her focus is on putting AI ethics into practice and preparing Dutch government organizations for upcoming AI legislation such as the European AI Act. She co-develops AI policies, conducts human rights reviews and bias assessments, and is a member of ethics committees.
